Author’s pov,

              Siya was touched by their little gestures, the last thing she expected was someone to put pillows on her both sides while she was sleeping, she chuckled remembering the number of times she woke up in the middle of the night because she fell off the bed. Suddenly she remembered the night she stayed at Marybeth’s because they both were checking the cafe’s expenses and some other things, it was around 1 when their work finished. Marybeth asked her to stay at her place for the night, because it was late so she agreed. Marybeth lived alone so she had just had one bed in her house, but it was big enough for two people to share.They both slept after eating something. In the middle of the night Siya fell off the bed, due to the sound even Marybeth woke up and saw what happened, Siya still remembers how much Beth had teased her after that.

                  Trusting people was never easy for Siya, she always kept her closed off, even Marybeth was no exception until the Chauhan’s came into her life. It took almost 5-6 months for her to accept Marybeth, but it was different this time she trusted them, felt safe with them which she never felt even if she was alone in her apartment but this time she did and she knew she was right to do so.

             Shrugging off her thoughts she quickly freshened up in the bathroom and went into the sitting area where she saw Arjun and Abhiraj sitting on the couches and discussing something as she went near them Arjun noticed her presence and said, “ did you sleep well?” on which she just nodded her head and sat down next to him on the big 3 seater couch. “Do you want to drink water?” Arjun asked her softly, “yes” she replied, so he handed her a glass of water and she gulped it in one go. Abhiraj chuckled and said, “guess you were in need of it.” Siya chuckled awkwardly, and scratched her neck.

                   “We still have almost 5-6 hours before we land so how about a detailed introduction about all the family members? Even though you spoke with them on the video call, but, you need to know more about them, even though they will tell you all this but you will be the one who has to go through so many changes and accept so many people in her life suddenly so it’s better if you know all of this in advance before reaching there.” Arjun said to her, and then he began telling her about all the family members in detail; about their career, about their behaviour, everything.

                 It was almost evening when they landed, they got into their car and started their journey towards the palace. The amount of security they had was almost triple the amount of security they have when they go to some risky place. All the security teams were on high alert because their princess was coming back. All 3 palaces were heavily guarded, not even a single person could go in without thorough checking. No one other than the 3 families knew what was happening. Siya’s existence was kept hidden till now, everyone knew about the Chauhan princess but after her 1st birthday there was no news about her no one knew about her kidnapping  because that would’ve jeopardised her safety wherever she was if one of their rivals came to know about her location. But now that she was back with them they would never let anyone even a single strand of her hair.

                 While sitting in car Siya saw the 10 cars full of security, she was shocked, she thought that they might need security because even if in today’s date it is just a title but still the king of Udaipur was with them, her brother’s a prince and she is a princess so she thought it was necessary. She mentally added this question to the list of questions she was going to ask them. Their car was in the middle while the cars full of security were split into 2; 5 cars were in front of them while the remaining 5 cars followed them. Once out of the airport she saw more cars joining them on both sides, still shocked she looked at Abhiraj. He just smiled and said, “all of them are our security, don't worry baccha.” She just nodded her head, her view of the city was completely blocked due to the amount of cars on both sides of their car. After a very long time slowly the cars around them suddenly stopped and she saw they were in front of a very big gate through which only their car passed rest all the cars were stopped it was kind of a check-post each and every car was being checked and also all of the guards inside the cars were also being checked. The amount of security she saw was nothing compared to the amount of security she saw next, there were 3 very big palaces and all of them were heavily guarded. The thing she saw next made her smile even through the emotional turmoil going on; all the palaces were decorated with different types of flowers and fairy lights, there was a flower path made till one of the palaces. It was evening so all the lights were glowing so it made all the palaces look more beautiful.

                              Siya was so engrossed in looking at the palaces that she missed how huge the whole property was and all the other things present there. After there car came to a halt Siya, Arjun and Abhiraj came out of the car, when they walked 2-3 steps ahead there was a flower pathway made till the entrance which was not so visible due to the decoration, Abhiraj said looking and Siya, “Siya you will walk on the flowers pathway ok?” “No I cannot, this is looking so pretty and this must have taken someone's efforts. I cannot just ruin someone’s efforts by stepping on them.”The guards around them were shocked to their core; they could not imagine how someone could be so pure and innocent. By some rumors they came to know that the princess was finally coming, most of the people thought her to be rude and arrogant but here she was denying to walk on the pathway that was made for her because someone else’s hard work may be ruined, all of the guards standing there made a vow to themselves to always protect her from all the evil things even on the cost of their life. Her thoughts made both Arjun and Abhiraj proud but today was not about someone else’s hard work it was about her so Arjun picked her up and kept her on the pathway. As her feet touched the flower petals fireworks started to burst in the sky above them, Siya was touched by all the things they were doing for her, they started walking towards the door of the palace. On the threshold of the palace all the members from all 3 families were standing, each and every one of them was smiling and waiting for the three of them to come. Urmila was standing in the front holding an aarti thali in her hands. When they reached them Urmila did Siya’s aarti and took away her nazar. All the time tears were continuously following from her eyes. After her aarti they kept a plate full of Alta and asked Siya to dip her feet in the plate and then walk on the cloth that was placed in front of her Siya was confused so Urmila explained, “my daughter is finally back after so many years and you my love are our goddess laxmi just like Priya, so it’s necessary for us to have our goddess’s footprints because it’s considered good luck, although we have taken your footprints when we brought you home for the first time but now that you are finally back with us we are doing this again to welcome our goddess back.” Siya was shocked to hear the meaning behind this; she never expected it to be something this significant. After dipping her feet in the Alta she walked on the white cloth and when she finally stepped in the house the first thing that happened was she was engulfed in a tight hug by Urmila. Siya never liked when someone touched her but Arjun and Abhiraj became the first exceptions but now even Urmila became one. The only thing Siya felt when Urmila hugged her peace, the only thought in her mind was “Is this how a mother’s embrace feels?”
